A tent project to shelter displaced people from heavy rains and strong winds

Project Idea:

The project aims to provide a rapid and effective response to the shelter crisis, especially during these extremely cold days accompanied by heavy rains and worsening weather conditions in the harsh, cold winter. It involves distributing tents to families whose homes have been completely destroyed in the northern areas of the Gaza Strip and who are in urgent need of safe, temporary shelter.

Beneficiary Groups:

The need for urgent shelter has reached critical levels for displaced families whose homes have been destroyed and damaged, and also for those whose tents have worn out and torn multiple times. The estimated number of beneficiaries in this project is about 100 families, approximately 500-700 individuals, including children, women, and the elderly, especially during these extremely cold days accompanied by heavy rains and worsening weather conditions.

Implementation Mechanism:

Direct distribution to the displaced people next to destroyed buildings and in camps where their tents have worn out and torn, according to approved lists, with humanitarian documentation that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries.
